After the base game, the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion takes you to the Land of Shadow with new weapons, bosses and an additional 30+ hours of content.

Shadow of the Erdtree is the best DLC FromSoftware has ever shipped. The Land of Shadow is dense, ugly, beautiful, and brutal — Messmer alone justifies the buy.
My first Souls game and finally one that feels welcoming. Spirit Ashes and stealth made every encounter feel solvable, even when it took twenty tries.
Stutter on first traversal is real, but post-patch the game runs cleanly on a 6700 XT at 1440p — and the art still carries every other open-world it ships against.
